The London Borough of Bromley's current policy is that parents must apply directly to their local school, The Priory School, and any other schools that they wish to consider.

Bexley Schools require that applications be received by the last day of the summer holidays.  Most other schools require applications to be received during the Autumn term of Year 6 attendance.

An evening talk is held early in the Autumn Term which is open to both Year 5 and Year 6 parents.

Children from The Highway have in previous years successfully achieved the standard required by Newstead Wood School for Girls, St. Olaves School for Boys, Kent Grammar Schools, Bexley Grammar Schools and Bromley High School for Girls.
